'OLD SOUL: The BOOK OF 12', is a graphic novel like no other. Starting with a 'what if?' notion, it imagines a book that contains all of a person's past lives, every thing they have experienced, and every lesson they have learned. What wisdom would such a book hold for us all? What stories it could tell us? What wisdom it might contain! 'OLD SOUL: The BOOK OF 12' is that book. It contains an infinite number of life adventures, featuring a hero called 'OLD SOUL'. Old Soul takes us on his journey throughout time. So doing, 'The BOOK OF 12' is a beautifully-illustrated hero’s journey of a very real, yet mystical, kind which is filled with beauty, imagination, and Truth. 'OLD SOUL: The BOOK OF 12' will share with us twelve amazing life-changing stories that Old Soul has experienced - in the form of 12 B&W comic books and 1 full-color, hardback collector's edition. Others will follow. It is a vast effort to achieve - especially if the hand-crafted animated movie version lies waiting at the end of this story-telling journey!

WHY DOES THIS PROJECT NEED YOUR SUPPORT?

The creation of a Graphic Novel is not an easy thing to do. It is not just the writing of any story and drawing pictures. Reflecting the processes of the mainstream publishing industry, there is so much that needs to happen with 'OLD SOUL: The BOOK OF 12' and on so many levels. For example, yes, a story has to be locked down. Yet a story such as this works on many levels too - and therefore requires a great deal of study & research to make it effective. It need a writing mentor, or co-author to tease out the very best storyline that's possible from such an unusual idea. Then, it needs literary editor to smooth-out all the wrinkles and typos. Then it needs countless months of detailed illustration work, to add the exemplary visual qualities being sought after here. Then, with story and images complete, it need a graphic and/or book designer to determine what the final publication layout and design will look like - for both print and for digital. Then when all that is accomplished, it needs to be published in all possible markets and a professional-level marketing and promotion campaign to make the public aware of it's existence. All this takes a considerable amount of time, expertise and cost to make it happen, which it why your help is needed to enable us to do it.
