The ultimate objective is to create an traditionally, hand-drawn animated movie of 'The BOOK OF 12'. However, in the absence of any support from the mainstream film industry for traditional hand-drawn animation, we are instead planning to create an incredible graphic novel version of the story, working title 'OLD SOUL'.
The beauty of creating a Graphic Novel version first is that a) the storyline can be locked-down in a form that works both in a book and a movie screenplay version, the book can be b) illustrated with the same powerful designs & illustrations that the movie will contain, and c) in publishing it in the print and digital marketplace it will show that there is indeed an audience for this kind of imaginative and inspired form of storytelling.
However to create a time-and-cost-demanding, full-color, graphic novel version of 'The BOOK OF 12' we need to seek the support of the community through crowdfunding. So, please help us in doing this. We hope you will be as excited by this idea as we are, and therefore join us on this crowdfunding adventure that will ultimately bring the graphic novel - and the animated movie - to a screen near you!
